  1. Buffalo Wild Wings is a restaurant/bar that has discounts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays, each traditional wing is 50 cents and on Thursdays each boneless wing is 60 cents. Originally it was 40 cents and 50 cents respectively, but I guess the recession hit and they had to raise the price. Anyway, soft drinks have free refills and they also have a lot of other choices to choose from. Also, there is a spectrum (literally) of sauces that go from mild to blazing that you can choose from. Each sauce can also be bought separately for consumption at home.

The atmosphere is what you would expect from a sports bar/restaurant. There is a very high ceiling and large windows on one side of the restaurant. The walls are painted black and spotlights illuminate some areas. The ceiling has exposed pipes and whatnot and there are large scrims on which baseball and other sports are constantly projected.

Customer service is pretty decent and very rudimentary. A waiter is assigned to a table and they will check back once in a while so you never really have to call for one.

If you want pictures, I have several on Facebook of my friends and I at the restaurant. I actually have several because it was one of the usual restaurants that we go to.

    For first time eaters:

    – Go on a discount day, and make sure you get there at a reasonable time. The line gets long, especially if Brooklyn Tech HS has a half day.
    – DON’T TRY THE BLAZING SAUCE ON THE FIRST TRY.
    – Asian Zing is probably the best bet if you want a sauce that isn’t too spicy but is spicy enough to pack a slight punch.
    – You’re going to need those free refills.

    OTHER:

There is a Blazing Challenge in which you must eat 12 wings with the trademark Blazing sauce slathered all over each one. With a time limit of 6 minutes, it is quite difficult, especially for those who can’t really endure spicy foods. The reward for completing the challenge is a t-shirt indicating that you beat the challenge.

  2. Name:Little Basil
    Cuisine type:Thai food
    Location:153 E. 26th Street

Price for meal I got :$10

Shrimp Pad Ped (had bamboo shoots, coconut, shrimp and half done egg on top)

Smells delicious.Taste pretty good. I personally like my eggs fully cooked so none the less I just took that part off the top.

    Service:Very nice customer service
    Other:
ordered out to go took about 15-20 minutes to get the food ready.Inside is very small. There are only a few tables and during lunch time its packed so don’t expect to eat in during those times. Also, it tends to be loud because people are there with 3-4 of their friends.

    Rating:3 out 5 stars.
