hey guys ! As I miss home a lot, i thought it would be good to share some pictures and facts about it !
I’m from a city called Fontainebleau , which is famous for its castle, which was Napoleon’s. What is good, is that contrary to Versailles, all the furnitures are still there so you can see where Napoleon used to eat, sleep, and make his evil plas to conquere Europe ! Please, type Fontainebleau chateau in google images, and you’ll get to see what thousands of people from all around the world come to see each year.
Fontainebleau is also famous for his forest, which is one of the biggest in Europe ! believe me that when you are a kid, you never have enough of rock climbing during the weekends !
My region is also very famous for its cheeses, especially brie ! Yes, the real Brie comes from Melun, the town where I was born ! And don’t believe anybody else who want to sell you what they call “real brie”, because you cannot find Brie imported from Melun in the US.
My region is famous fro tones of other stuff but I’m afraid I’ll make you bored so if ever you’re interested, feel free to ask anything ! If not, thx anyway for reading my post, it felt good to talk about home !
It’s so beautiful! I miss it too even though I have not even been there.lol. France is just bursting with so much history! I love it! And all the food sounds so tasty like the classic croque monsieur, and delicious pastries.It’s like living on a vacation except you’re not on vacation! You get to do everything you normally get to do in NYC!:)

Omg Julie it is beautiful!! I just saw the pictures on google and it is definitely a place I would like to visit. No wonder you miss it so much! and I agree with romi the food sounds really good I love to eat crepes but they probably taste way better in france haha I guess i’ll have to visit someday 🙂
