Well my name is Mark Hulser and I am an avid Mets fan who has season tickets to watch his favorite team lose every damn game. Though I consider myself to be an optimistic person who knows at some point things will turn in my direction one way or another. Some of you may have heard my life is a game speech, and I am restating the premise because it is true. The point for me is to win at this game and become a success. Right now I am at the beginning stages of my game where you just start to get the feel of the game.
My top three concerns about my freshman year at Baruch college……. Well for one , Just to avoid shooting myself in the head is one. Second making sure that I can keep up with the tremendous amount of work that is assigned every damn class. We would like to avoid having to go on blckboard and our e-mails 24/7. Number 3 would have to be being able to meet new people. Yeah it sounds cheesy but it’ true. It qualifies as aconcern because out of honesty as much as people claim to love being alone, that is a load of crap.
Baruch experience compared to high school experience…….. Well only having 4 days of classes is at least a little easier. Though now it feels as if with becoming more independent in collge it tends to be that you are at the school more than you would think. In high school you couldn’t wait to leave and go party or chill with friends. Now you tend to study more and care more about your work.
I believe my first year at Baruch college will change me to the point where I will start to get the feel how life will be in the next 5 to 10 years. Having a full time job for every day the whole year instead of just the summer like i am used to. It is just preperation and I will feel the change.
Yea the whole email thing and blackboard is annoying huh, don’t know what this blogging is really going to achieve but hey good luck with the METS unfortunately i”m not much of a baseball fan.
