Who I am

While most people have difficulties in trying to find out who they are, I’m pretty confident in coming to an understanding of who i am. I for one know, that i am Jewish. I consider myself a cool and fun guy, who will defiantly go out of his way to help someone in need. I was born and raised in Great Neck, NY. Growing up in Great Neck, many of the kids i was friends with happened to share the same religion as me, Judaism. This wasn’t uncommon for many kids because Great Neck, consists of a largely populated Jewish area. Having lived here all my life, I would consider myself to be sort of religious, in a sense that i keep the holy holidays and attend Temple and try to the best of my abilities to fulfill my duties as a Jew. I consider myself to be a responsible adult, who sticks to his word and tries to accomplish things on time. I love to socialize and meet new people, building connections, is of extreme importance because you never know when you might need that person. My top three concerns at Baruch are as follow, firstly, every teacher at my high school would try and scare us by telling us that college is going to be extremely difficult and if you’d mess up with work it  would be the end of the world. Secondly, the amount of work that we were to receive seemed to be a major concern but so far its not to bad. Lastly, I would have to say is meeting the professors, and hoping you get a good one. My Baruch college experience will defiantly differ from my high school experience because we have much more freedom in college, in high school if we were caught walking with our cell phone they would take it away ASAP! We also have much more relaxed schedules and a lot more time to socialize in between class’s. However the amount of work we will be receiving is also much more then what we would given in high school i’m assuming. My first year in college will probably make me a more responsible adult. This is the time where you think about the future and decide what you want to make of yourself. Overall i’m exited to see what Baruch has to offer and will defiantly make the best out of everything i come across.
