Voices IV

I actually enjoyed this play a lot more than the previous one. There were many monologues that made you sympathize with. Lots of them were very entertaining and made me laugh. While others made you tear because they were very sad stories. I enjoyed this monologue and am actually forward to seeing next years.

Voices IV

Even though I’m sure all the performed monologues were heartfelt, there was only one that touched me. The story of a friend’s sacrifice in a battle with cancer sent chills through me. Choosing someone’s life over yours is extremely humble and I think there is a lesson behind it.

Rubin Museum

Visiting the Rubin Museum was intriguing for me because I’ve always been very curious about different cultures and beliefs. The shrine kept upstairs was most memorable for me as it was stunning… Loved the colors and sculptures, was definitely inspired.

VOICES 4

Voices was inspiring, sad and heart-warming. The variety of monologues proved to be entertaining. After attending voices 4 I have become aware that a lot of people have come from many different back grounds than I. Many live much worse life experiences and some not as bad. This makes me more aware of the people around me and be open to help.

I learned a lot about credit and how useful it will be during and after college. I also learned that making some changes in my life style can make drastic changes financially such as buying bubble tea which is $4 i could buy 4 water bottles with that or just save $4.
