a) My experiance to baruch has lived up to my expectations because it really does provide alot oppotunituties for internships, has many amazing interesting clubs, and provides great tutoring.
b) My first semester was a struggle in the begginning but then I adjusted to it and feel that I got into the rhyth, of things by balancing school, work and my social life.
c) If I would change anything this semester it would probably the amount of sleep i was getting. Sleep is important and I learned I do better in school if I rest.

Monologue
I am one of the many new freshman’s at Baruch college. I was definitely set on attending this school, and had no other preferences because I knew i was going for a business major; accounting most likely. Math has always been my strongest subject, and numbers have been simpler to me than language. However, in order to do well I must master both, which is one of the greatest issues I have for my first semester, considering that I have no math classes and all other classes require literary skills. I am trying my best and really hope I do well in these classes. I really strive to get a degree here and achieve a succcesfull career.
My whole life I have seen my parents work so hard to have the position that they have in their careers now. They have shown me that you have to work hard to get what you want. Their success and work ethics inspires me to make something of myself, in order to obtain what I want in life, and take pride in what I do.

Breast cancer walk.
When I arrived to the breast cancer walk, it was quite early and cold. Although this event did not have the most favorable conditions, the environment and the people inspired my mood. It felt great and motivating to be apart of a greater purpose with an enormous of people who are for the same cause. It also gave a vibe of unity and hope, for the fight against cancer. I will definitely be planning on attending the next walk for breast cancer.

Hello,
My name is Stefany Bekkerman and I am eighteen years old. I was born in Ukraine and came here with my family when I was two years old. I have been living in New York ever since I came here. No, I don’t remember anything from the old country but I still speak Russian because it was very important for my parents to know my native language. Watching my parents trying to make it here in America has definatly inspired me and taught me alot about hard work, dedication and motivation. I hope that these very traits will help me to succeed here in Baruch. My three primary concerns will be to manage time with school work and my part time job, and still maintain a high average. This is the major difference between college and highschool, because you have to be organized and responsible yourself. There will be no one there to remind you to have an assignment done by the due date. Therefore my first year will change me by time management skills, my responsibilities and work ethic. Later on my concern will be to find an internship that I will be interested in, be good at, and that will lead me to a prosperous and beneficial career.
