So my name is Amit Kumar i am 18 about to be 19 december 21, i am going to Baruch in the city currently and i hope to get into the Zicklin school of buisiness soon. Im a pretty nice person and a bit funny i like to meet new people and i am pretty easy to get along with. My interests are racing with my friends and working on cars as well as just hanging out with my friends playing sports. I hope to maitain the gpa i currently have to hold the scholar ship i have and to keep it up to get into the Zicklin school. My downfall tends to be my lazyness and how quickly i can get out of focus. Im hoping to change that and when i do get interested in something i usually get really into it. One thing about college i realized is that it is alot more responsibility to handle, and it kind of makes high school seem really simple everything was basically told and kind of done for you. In college nothing is expected from you from anyone so the decisions you make and the effort you put is your own decision. I hope to make a couple more friends and to learn more and one day get a good job somewhere in the business world or real estate.

Anyways… Maintaining an impressive GPA starts with how well you manage your time and using your breaks to get your work done!
— You mean in college everything IS expected from you and nothing will be handed to you. In high school you may have been hand-held but in college you must be responsible for keeping track of all your assignments and their due dates. you’re expected to do reading on your own in order to discuss for future lessons. your coveted GPA is attainable but you need to set goals for yourself and set your priorities straight.

I didn’t know you’re in a scholarship program! You should definitely keep up your GPA. And of course college is so much different from high school. You are expected to complete everything by yourself. Make sure you make a use of your planner to help you out. And Katherine and I are here to help you out with the transition!! 🙂
