Who I think I am

I am a freshman student at Baruch and I am very hard working person. I am a perfectionist and I always want everything done properly and promptly. I am half Greek (mother’s side) and half Italian (father’s side) and I love it. I love my cultural background because it is a huge part of me. I am now a New Yorker, ever since I moved into the dorms (even though I lived in Queens my whole life) and I love exploring the city. There is so much to do all the time and I am so fortunate to be given the opportunity to be apart of that.

My top three concerns about my freshman year at Baruch are keeping up my GPA because I know that I can do well. Another concern is being able to find clubs to get involved in because I was involved in so many clubs during high school and it is hard to make connections with people since this is a commuter school. My last concern is that I want to be able to take full advantage of the school because there is so much to do and so little time.

The difference between my Baruch college experience and my high school experience is that after school and during my breaks I have the opportunity to explore the city and learn more about the world around me.

My first year of college will change me because I will become even more mature than I already am. I have more responsibilities and I have learned how to manage my time better.
