Monologe

Hey so this is my monolog, Baruch has definitely been a new experience, i met ton of cool friends and people, had some interesting professors (reliviewings lol), since im posting this at the end of the semester (my bad robi) i thought ill summarize my first semester rather than give expectations. Good first semester, too bad were the unhappiest school in ny though haha.

Thanks robi for a good semester

who i think i am

”i am whoever u say i am” by eminem is a goo way to describe me. i cant really describe myself because peoples perception of of someone is subjective an is different from one another. but i think i am a child who has a lot to learn. i o not kno many things but this is ok because i have time to mature and i believe college is the perfect place to do so.

Second Workshop

Okay so the second workshop was called “Transition from College to Career with ease!” I thought the workshop was alright but once again, couldn’t it have started later so that we all could’ve gotten lunch first, instead of us starving for an hour and a half? And I noticed that one of the presenters, Herbert Harriet, kept saying “You know…” a lot whenever he talked, lols? xD

Second Workshop

This workshop is very helpful to students who are aiming to become successful in the future. It taught us how to be professional. The people presenting were enthusiastic about the subject that they were talking about. Because I already expected a lot of the things they were talking about, I thought it was a bit boring.

Baruch Voices IV

all i have to say is wow, this baruch voices presentation was really good. the monologues were sad, serious, hilarious, sometimes made me think some of these people have it bad but they fought through their problems. i enjoyed this a lot and hope to attend more in the future.

monologue

my biggest issue is being on time, especially to this class. forcing myself to wake up every morning when sleeping seems so easy and the only thing interrupting me is my alarm clock. i know i don’t have the worst travel, because i’ve heard stories. i also hate making excuses because i know i can do better. school isn’t even the problem because i’m doing fine but not as well as i did in high school. it seems like college is a whole other world.

Hello

Hello my name is Gabriel Aguirre. I live in nyc and have decided to attend baruch college. so far i like coming here and my favorite class is psychology. my favorite place to chill out is the 8th floor just cause its quiet and the sun comes straight into the windows in the afternoon. i like baruch so far and want to keep studying here.

Second Workshop

I found the workshop to be very informative. They taught me how to be professional and how it will help me to earn a job in the future. I got a head start on planning my future through this workshop. The people were very enthusiastic and inspiring.

Monologue

Sometimes i wish that i was the last human being living on planet earth. I want to live in a place for a while where everything is just quiet; Nothing like the busy city where i live today Although it may get lonely at times, what can be better than not living by any laws or rules. I can be whatever i want and do whatever i want. I will be living by my own rules. There will be nobody around to be jerks. Life would be so much easier, everything would be going at my pace. No rush and, no hassles. I sure will miss people after a while…
