I found the museum pretty interesting, although it was a bit of a hike away from the school. I was suprised to find learn that the museum building had originally been tenament housing, as the it seemed to be in pristine condition during our tour. I’m not a big museum guy, and I’m not particularly partial to Himalayan Art, but I though the experience was worth it. We’re in college right? The idea is to expand our thinking and be ‘cultured’ and such. I’ll probably have no use for any of the information i learned while at the museum (just like much of the things we learn in school), but who knows; maybe one day it’ll be relevant, and I’ll be glad I had this experience.
