I think of Freshman Seminar as a class for us new students entering college for the first time to get adjusted to college life. I also believe it is a class where we get to meet new people and make new friends. I think this class will help me get out get out of my shell of shyness and interact with people I have never met before. I also think that this class will help me communicate better with my peers and my instructors.

I think that Freshman Seminar will help me with the transition from high school to college. Not only will I meet new people, but also learn about important skills like time management and being organized. I believe that this class will help me succeed as a Baruch College student.

At first when I heard we were not getting any credit for this class, I thought Freshmen Seminar would have no use. I thought to myself, then why is it mandatory? However, after I realized what F/S was all about I thought that its an incredible way to help new comers transition from their high school life to college life. I would define F/S as an instructive class that aids freshmen in adjusting to all new experiences that they will encounter throughout their college life. I think it’s hard enough to deal with new schedules, new professors, new classmates and F/S helps us get to know everyone better and get familiarized with the college. I think this class will help me in public speaking, in writing skills and in techniques to better schedule my time and learn my way through the college.

Freshman Seminar is a essential part of getting accumulated to the college experience, It gives a preview of the things you can expect during your college experience. Before attending my first session I had reservations as to what I could really learn in this class, but after attending the first session I began to pick up little tidbits of knowledge that I believe will pay off during my experience at Baruch. Freshman Seminar is a great way to coerce new students into getting to know their classmates. It is sort of the last high school feeling environment in college. I think its a great transitional class.

FRO is a cool class. It shows you the basics of college life. It also helps you answer any questions you may have about where to go or what to do in a certain situation. This class will help me make the transition from high school to college. It is also a way of meeting new people in the same boat your in. Overall i think FRO will be a great learning experience for me and my fellow classmates.
