My Library Experience at Baruch- Rochelle Sutton
I recently visited the library of Baruch college. My class took a library tour and we got to explore all the different sections of the library. There are many computers there that are available to all the students of Baruch that we can use any time of the day. There is also a desk where you can get text books for your classes and a desk where you can rent calculators for math classes. This library is a great environment, its quiet and relaxing and helps the students do their work. There are also study group rooms that people need to get a key for so they dont have any interruptions and can study well. The Baruch library is so convenient for a student and will be very helpful for me in the next four years.

Baruch experience
This semester at Baruch has been good. I enjoyed my classes and the professors. So I really didn’t have any trouble academically so far. Next semester is going to be a totally different experience since I’m going to be taking five classes. But I’m ready to be a full time student and catch up with my credits. This semester was a good experience.

My Experience at Baruch
My experience at Baruch has been really good. I met a lot of new people, I joined a few clubs, and in the clubs I met even more new people. I’m kind of scared to register for new classes for some reason, but I know I’ll get over that. This year overall has been tough but I’ve overcome it. I didn’t really enjoy my math class, but I’m gonna do everything I can to make it out of it. I did enjoy my English Class though.
When I first found out I was a part time student, I was kind of disappointed. I felt that I had done my part in high school. And at times I felt like at the beginning as a part time student, we were constantly being told it was because we didn’t do our job in high school, but I feel, for most of us that wasn’t the case. But we had to prove ourselves to the school and in a way I feel like it was a blessing. I’m able to really show myself and adapt to the college environment before I’m thrown into a full 5 class schedule, so I greatly appreciate my time that I’ve had to “adapt”.
I really think I’m going to enjoy the next four years here 🙂

Monologue
my biggest fear has to be to fail. cuz i failed before and i know its not something i want to experience again. But i believe that you cant let the fear of failing stop you from accomplishing your goals. i hardest thing this year so far has to be the commute from jersey to penn station. its such a long joirney and i ususlally have to wake up around 5 am just to make it to my 8 am class. I am very excited to move to nyc next semester. Its gonna be alot of funy. i cant wait.

My Monolouge
Being biracial I was always confused on where I fit in and who would “accept” me. It was always such a big deal to me, well I always made it a big deal. The fact that anywhere I went I was never something enough. But this year I took a different look at the world. My grandfather changed that.
“My grandfather is German, Irish and English. He is covered in freckles, and has red hair. He told me about his childhood and about the hard times he had dealing with kids making fun of his skin and hair. My grandfather also had dyslexia. Kids and teachers would call him stupid and told him he’d never be successful in life. My grandfather, Willard C. White, graduated from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy, was an engineer for several companies, was the C.E.O of American Cyanimid, and developed a patent for UV lenses and a respirator. A man who was told would never graduate high school, became a successful businessman. Hearing this story I knew what I had been through wasn’t half as oppressive as what he had endured.”
Although I cannot say I am completely comfortable in my own skin, and do not always feel a sense of belonging, I see now that feelings and those experiences have inspired me to do many great things in life. And like my grandfather, I want to be able to say that I’ve been at the very lowest point in my life, but I’ve taken those feelings and made it into motivation.
I’ve realized that your background doesn’t define you. So what I think I am is a girl who maybe isn’t as confident as she should be or as sure of herself. A girl who wanted to be Pocahontas when she was little. A girl who loves to play Madden. A girl who loves hip hop and R&B like Jay-Z:)

My Baruch Experience so Far:
My first semester at Baruch College is almost over. In these three short months, I had the opportunity to experience what it feels like to be in College. One thing I like about Baruch so far is the freedom every student is bestowed with; professors do not burden me with course obligations such as attending class or doing homework, I do it all on my own. Also, I enjoy the diversity of my classes; I share multiple classes with only a few people who I do not need to know since I barely see them. One thing I do not like about Baruch is that there is nothing not to like; I like everything about Baruch.

Baruch Experience
I am really enjoying Baruch so far. I really love it. I am glad I was able to share something personal with my class during the monologue session. I am happy that I got to make the friends I did. I am doing really good in my classes and I cant wait till next semester and to be able to register for more classes next semester. I got to work on my music at the same time and do good in school too. I really like it here and am excited for the future..

Baruch Experience
My experience at baruch so far has pretty good. I was kind of happy to find out that i only had two classes and not five classes. Only having two classes has allowed me to gently start my college experience rather then being unable to handle five classes. This gives me a lot of free time to see what else the college has to offer me as a student. It also gives a feel for how i have to study in order to keep my grades. So overall my experience so far at Baruch has been good.

Baruch Experience
My Baruch experience is very interesting. My classes are ok. I met alot of new people. Right now I’m part time and will be full time in the second semester. I’m right now frustrated of what is going on. I’m a little stress out. I can’t wait to become full time. It really stinks when you’re part time. I feel pretty behind. I hope i can catch up and be want i need to be in. I kinda enjoy my class and being with my new friends that I made.

how its been so far blog
how has it been so far?
i think it has been good, baruch is an exelent space, outside the classrooms and inside of them.
i think the gym is the best thing, strbucks, the pool, all i need to succed is here.
My classes are good, english is good, it gives us a chance to express things we only think about. my math is a turoting class, i have learned alot , hopefully enough to pass the admission t.est.
im kind of worried about the test, but i have confidence ill pass.
my peers are good, we all have our personalities, my fro cass i like, its like that individual attetion we are all used to having since highschool.
one of the reasons my english teacher is criticized is because she doesnt give that individual attetion, but i guess we can get used to that.
its a great thing to be in this school, i want to be here longer. i know i can make it.
