My Jingles
Hey guys, so when it comes to music I don’t stick to a genre just because
I like giving everything a chance 🙂 Also I went through a lot of changes
I’m sure we’ve all gone through that weird elementary school days with the best of the 90s-early 2000s
spice girls, boys to men, n’sync, britney spears, christina aguilera…..radio disney haha
and then the whole junior highschool emo phase with the my chemical romance, him, afi, four year strong, sense fail, slipknot, korn, artreyu…you get the deal.
Anyway so that was me, but this is me now.
Here’s my little arrangement of songs that get me through the long subway rides to school and back home.
1. Adele
(actually I listen to both of her albums so all the way through so I can’t really name one specific song.)
2. Nat King Cole
Darling Je Vous Aime Beaucoup
3. Chet Baker
Time after Time
4. Billy Holiday
You go to my head
5. Jessie J
Who you are
6. Sara Bareilles
Sitting on the dock of the bay (original by Otis Redding)
7. The Pierces
Three wishes
8. Sia
Death by chocolate
9. Weezer
Say it ain’t so
10. Sublime
Mary
well thats it.
enjoy
(was that anticlimactic?)

Hey Sophie,
First of all, I love the title “My Jingles”. You pushed away from the typical “My Playlist” or “My 10 songs” title. I agree with your mention of change through the years and it’s funny cause I went through very similar changes with the same bands. Interesting choice in music and I like how you are diverse with your genres. Nice blog! Keep it up!
