It makes me sad when the escalators don’t work 🙁

There is really no point investing money into the escalators when half the time it doesn’t even work especially during peak hours. I guess this is why Baruch is notorious for having terrible escalators.

Monologue

Every day, I wake knowing I will face challenges throughout the day. These challenges can be a difficult uphill battle but eventually I will cross the finish line.  I have learned throughout my challenges that sometimes, the best preparation is actually not having any preparation at all. I feel that preparation is a double edge sword that can either help you or harm you. Personally, I find it harmful because there are times where a person over prepares themselves that they become stressed out and tunneled in to a certain path. Being unprepared is not necessary a bad thing, because you should always be ready to adapt to the situation. Just like life, you cannot prepare for certain things in the future ahead of you because there are many unexpected obstacles to overcome and not everything will go in your way. Death is a great example of unexpected events, because death is the only thing I am scared of. Death is nothing something I can plan and be prepared for but I try to make the best of my life before it happens. Yes I fear death, but who doesn’t? That is why I set my foot out into the world to find true happiness every day.  I always tell myself to be who I am and not live a life that was planned because it will be boring. I like to like a live of uncertainties because it give me thrills.

Baruch Voices

Unlike many of us, I was not mad or anxious maybe because I registered early. I actually enjoyed some of the monologue especially the Asian male actor. His performance was very good and funny. If I was given a choice, I wouldn’t have gone but after the performance I appreciated their hard work in preparing for the performance.  The actors didn’t have to put so much effort in it or even put on the performance at all but they did. It was my pleasure watching them.

“The Playlist”

These songs does not represent me as a whole but it does represent my personality where I am a calm person that enjoys up tempo music. I chose these songs because I am able to express my feelings through these songs and it has amazing background music that gives off a refreshing feeling. Most of the songs in the list are in different genres because I don’t listen to a specific genre as I listen to what sounds the best to me. I listen to pretty much every kind of music and genre as long as I like it. However, I am not really a fan of rap and hardcore rock music.  If you have time, check out the music video for some of these songs because it is awesome and it matches the lyrics perfectly. Hope you enjoy!
