1. This song sounds calm to me, and I consider myself to be a calm person. It is also short and I don’t like to talk much, so maybe, there is a connection there.
2. I chose this song because it reminds me of my freshman year in high school which was a lot of fun.
3. The lyrics are very cute in this song and I like cute things, like bears or jellyfish.
4. I am fascinated by death, so the image created by this song is interesting to me.
5. The girl that John Lennon is singing about is funny and a little strange, she reminds me of myself.
6. I don’t like to be in the same place for a long time and in this song I think Foals are talking about people who are similar to nomads so I can relate.
7. This is another song about death, but it is also very beautiful. It is sad but I really like it.
8. I really like Christmas because I have good memories from that time. It’s kind of a funny song.
9. Unfortunately I have really bad social skills so I can relate to this song. In the song Lykke Li talks about a person who is very introverted, which I am.
10. I also have poor communication skills. I’m not very good at speaking, especially to people I don’t know. I just don’t like talking all that much.
That was an interesting playlist. I’m not familiar with most of it, although I have a friend who is a huge Julian Casablancas fan so I’ve had to hear a few songs, lol.
I like that you were able to make a connection to every song. Also, it’s not always a bad thing to be quieter than others, although I hope you eventually become comfortable speaking up in class every now and then.
