My favorite enrichment workshop for Freshmen Seminar this year definitely is the Baruch Voices. It amazed me how those professional actors performed stories of our classmates. I feel that I am able to see those stories happened right in front of my eyes. But this is not the most crucial thing, the stories from my classmates impress me the most. Before, I did not even know there were some many fascinating stories behind them. From those monologues, I found out some problems I shared with them after I got into college, like wanting to get independence for parents, having a difficult time to adapt changes, and missing old friends for previous institutions. During the performance, I feel a sense of relief,  as if i was the one who stood on the stage and expressed my problems. And humorous language somehow weakened those trouble I’m facing. It gave me confidence to fight them. I have a feeling that my life in Baruch will be more and more interested.

Hello ladies and Gents! Here is my first blog post. Right now I’m going to introduce myself based on who I am. I am an international student from China, and I have been in America for 3 years. I am not very flew in English, so I am always glad if you guys can help me. In general, I’m a nice person who rarely gets angry and smiles at people all the time. I love jokes; you might find out that I will say something stupid in the future, so don’t take that too serious. My favorite thing in the entire plant is FOOD. I feel so good while I’m eating. Imagining when the tasty solid or liquid goes through your mouth and full fills your stomach, I beg you will enjoy that more that anything. For academics, I personally find out that math is a fabulous subject which I could spend tons of time in. Also I am good at math; I got 800 on my SAT. I love all math related subjects,too; that is why I am here in Baruch. I can play Rubik’s cube super fast. Although it is impossible for me to make it nice in 10 seconds, 20 to 30 seconds is okey. Chess and Sudoku are two my favorite games. They train people’s mind a lot so that people can think more logically. Besides academics, I also train my body’ or in other words, I do sports. I am good at badminton and maybe swimming, and I’m trying to be good at basketball but it takes a long time. That’s it. Above all, I’m a nice person, so be friend with me!!!
