Hi my name is Jeremy. I am 18 years old.  Sadly enough i am afraid of heights. i cant go on any balconies or look over ledges in building they creep me out. something that is weird though is I go on roller coasters. I don’t know why i am able to go on roller coasters because i am afraid of heights, but i can. You would think I wouldn’t be able to do this.I really enjoy playing basketball. Speaking of basketball, the NBA season is starting soon i cant wait. I really don’t like the Miami Heat. I hope someone else besides them wins the championship. My favorite team is the Knicks. I am hoping they are better than last year. I hope they will beat the Heat. Nothing makes my night like a Knick win or ruins it like a bad loss. When watching the Knicks, I like to be eating something. I like to eat candy specifically. i really enjoy candy. Any red candy you can name i almost definitely like. There isn’t a better feeling to me than working hard to achieve something and then you achieve what you want to achieve. In starting college this something i want to live up to. A quote that I really believe people should hold to is by Wayne Gretzky, he once said “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”. I think you should live by this because it is saying when you do something you have to do it to your best of abilities. If you don’t there is no point in even trying.

Monologue

My name is Morris. I enjoy mixing music and playing sports. I hate the Boston Celtics. I am someone you can always count on to do their best. I am a son, brother, uncle, cousin to different people. My parents are important to me because they guide me into living the right way. I come from a community in Brooklyn and I am in college today to hopefully help me in the real world. I am not too fond of dogs, snakes and that little girl from “The Ring.” I always feel like she’s chasing me when I go up the stairs. Coming through when it’s a challenge and winning tough games make me happy. I’m also glad when I make a nice mix that I thought of come to life. There is no greater feeling. What is important to me is being there for your family, friends or your teammates and especially yourself. One embarrassing moment that I will never forget is being pansted by my friend’s uncle at his house with many people around. I was seven and a good boy. Don’t know what I did to deserve that one. I like to go by Drake’s motto of “You Only Live Once” because it teaches you to be more outgoing in life and to participate in more things. If you don’t do it now, you’ll probably regret it later. My greatest accomplishment, until the Knicks win a title, would have to be going to college and lasting as long as I have. The college opportunity is one I had to take because once again, “You Only Live Once.”
