Out of all the enrichment workshops we attended voice’s was by far my favorite enrichment workshop. When listening to the monologues being acting out it really got me thinking of different monologue ideas that I should of wrote about. I really enjoyed the monologue of the guy thats in love with bacon I found that very comical. But besides the funny monologues. The serious ones were the ones that really got me thinking. I personally couldn’t believe some of the experiences some of my fellow classmates wrote about and have to deal with on a day to day basis. This workshop in particular had me very interested and when I am down or happy maybe I ll write a monologue because I feel it’s a great way to get out your emotions with out acting out a certain way.Im so glad we attended voices that work shop will stick with me for the rest of my life.

Although I have had a lot of fun at Baruch so far, I have to say my life has been very stressful this semester. I have had to balance my time between school, work and baseball. Let me explain to you a day in the life of Matt Ballone first I wake up every morning at 6a.m. to complete my home work for my morning class. Then I shower and get ready for my two mile walk to the subway. Which you all know I hate the subway. once I resurface from the underground you”ll usually see me sprinting to the library to print out my homework then sprinting to class to be on time. Once my classes are over I like to try and get as much work done before work. But usually end up napping to catch up on sleep. From the library I go to work from 3pm-12am. When I get home I eat dinner and try to do some homework before I pass out. I look forward to my days off but when I am off I have to go to baseball work outs. I feel like I am standing still and things are just passing me by.The day in the life of Matt Ballone

The Subway
The subway is a major part of my life now that I go to Baruch College. When on the subway you in counter many different circumstances that have to deal with your 5 senses. The screeching sound of the subway pulling up makes me realize my long day I have ahead of me.Whats that smell? it smells like a blend of garbage and and nasty body oder. Oh wait its just the subway plat form. What is that touching my arms? Its the over population of people trying to get on to the same train. Why cant I breathe? It’s the people on the same subway train as me packed like sardines in a air sealed can.Why am I sweating? The temperature down in the subway is the most un bearable and un comfortable feeling. How are these men break dancing with this cluster of people in the way?The subway is both negative in which it makes me feel uncomfortable sometimes, but it’s also a positive because you expierence many interesting things and people everyday.

I picked this first picture because I was born and raised in west babylon which is a medium sized town on long island. I love my neighborhood on long island everyone is quite friendly and very into sports. One thing I miss from my town is participating in the varsity football games and being part of homecoming. I miss my town on long island and all my friends I left behind.
The second picture I picked is the number 5. I choose the number 5 because I am the oldest of five siblings. My siblings are Samantha who is 16, Victoria who is 14, Alexandra who is 14, and Joey who is 11. Having such a big family thats very close in age is very fun we always do fun stuff together; And it is kind of cool being the first to go to college and being the role model of my family. We also have a lot in common we all play sports and want to be successful in life.
The third picture I picked is of a baseball player. I love the game of baseball I would play it everyday if I could. I started playing baseball at the age of five and it is one of the main reasons of how I got to were i am today. I also love to watch baseball My favorite team is the New York Mets even though they’re not that good I still enjoy watching them play.
The fourth picture I chose is of the shake shack. Whether Iam near madison park or at citi field I always find my way to get lunch at the shake schack. my favorite meal is the shake shack burger and fries with a large lemonade.
The fifth picture I chose is a picture of the Baruch bear cat Iam currently a student of Baruch and love it so far. The classes are fun and the campus is very nice. I am also part of the Baruch baseball team which has been fun and helped me make new friends.
The sixth picture I choose is a picture of the word Brooklyn in graffiti. I chose this image because I currently live in Greenpoint,Brooklyn. I love living in Brooklyn because it’s just like living in the city but a little less noisy and crowded. The area in which I live is very up and coming and theres so much to do at night and Im only one stop away from manhattan.
The seventh picture I chose is a picture of people partying. I chose this image because I like to go out and party with my friends in my free time. I like to go to new places and meet new people listen to good music and dance and eat great and delicious food.
