I enjoyed first semester in the Baruch College. Every professor was nice and lessons are funny. I spent most free times on the GYM and library. I like Baruch’s GYM, clean and big, I always play basketball with my friends in there. In the free time, if I don’t play basketball with my friends, then I would go to computer room. Computer room is a quiet place for student to study on their courses.

Math is my favorite subject, and Pro. Sze is also my favorite professor. Her lesson was clearly and easy to understand. However, her exam review sheet was so terrible. Questions on the exam are all took from the class work or homework, but there were no similar questions on the review sheet. It is waste time to study on the useless review sheet.

First weak that I attended English class, the professor told me that using own experiences as ann example to prove own opinions is better than using example of fiction. I don’t agree with him. For example when using the fact in the Harry Potter to prove my opinion, then people will easily understand. Harry Potter is popular in the world now; most people read it already, so when I using it for the example, people would clearly think I am right. Unlike the own experience, people may think I am make up the story to prove my opinions. Until now I am still not sure which one is better to use for the example to prove my opinions.

Monologue. Monologue? I have nothing to say now. Anyway, let’s say something about this semester. I like Baruch college, whatever an environment, professor or a courses. Math is my favorite, and Math prof Sze is my favorite professor too. She is so sweet and makes a lesson simple and easy to study. She doesn’t ask to buy a textbook, so I saved lot money on the textbook. A lot $$$$$. Psychology is a large class, with around 500 students, two assistant, and one professor. Prof Albright is funny guy. He always made us laughing by his way of teaching. Some people says psychology is hard to study, but our class exam average was higher than 80. Music course drives me crazy. Prof Stock is great professor, but I am not good at music at all. As the music played on the exam, I only heard “alleluia”. I think I would fail the exam this time. Last course was a FRO course. Small class just for fun with the sweet Joanna.

My name is Zhen Lin. I am Chinese, a one of Baruch student, and a 18years old teenager. I am good at math but my writing so poor. I hate describe myself, because I don’t know who I am.

I was concerned about presentation. Many classed need to do the presentation, but my speaking was not so well. I was may got bad grade, because I lost the credits in the presentation. I also concerned about lateness. Every day I need travel around one hour to come to college, so I am afraid I would be late to the class, if the train got some problems. The last concerned was where to get the calculator. I need calculator for the Math class, but library is no more calculators to borrow for the semester.

Homework was my college experience that totally different from your high school experience. During the high school time, homework was written on sheet of paper and handing to the teacher in the next day. In the college, we are doing all homework in the website.

This semester would make my speaking improved, because I have too many presentations, and I don’t want lose much credits on it.
