I’m glad that I got to meet with my Academic Advisor because I really had questions that needed to be answered about future classes to take and especially which ones I needed for my major. I feel more confident in choosing my classes. Professors may be an issue picking the right one and getting into the classes before they fill up but I think I will be able to do it now after meeting with the advisor.

Picking out and registering for classes for the Spring semester turned out to be fairly easy although quite tedious if you are willing to put in the effort to choose a good professor. Searching up professors who teach courses I’m interested on ratemyprofessor.com becomes very exhausting and time-consuming. Picking out the classes were simple; I had a few options to choose from from my core curriculum. I tried to pick courses that may help me choose my major next year and get started on a business curriculum swiftly. The only problem I may encounter is if the courses I picked are all filled by the time I register which will mess up my whole schedule.

After much stressing, registration for the spring 2013, has finally come and was a lot esier then I would have thought.  I got to pick most of my desired classes, and the actual signing up for the classes wasn’t nearly as difficult as I would have thought.  I would like to thank Christian for answering all my questions and for making the process all the more pleasant.

These days lading up to the registration of classes have been very stressful. I want to pick a good schedule but i am unsure of what will be availeble on thursday. Also on thursday we have to go to a freshman seminar program at the time of our regitration. i wnt to ge into my classes as soon as possible. I am lso under a lot of pressure to make fitting schedule and to pick good proffesers.

These days leading up to the registration for spring semester classes, all that has been on my mind has been the classes I will take. So far Imen, Tina and I want to take the same classes because we love each other. We know that we have different majors but we are going to try to take our core classes togeththat this semester has actually been easy for me because I’ve had them by my side to help me.

Meeting with an advisor helped me significantly with many different things. I felt at home with the advisor as he taught me numerous things that i did not know. The schedule process looks easy now that i learned what i needed to learn. Hopefully i can continue to meet with these people throughout my years in Baruch to help make it an easier and smoother college experience.

Meeting with the academic advisor definitely helped me plan out my course schedule for the spring semester, by telling us what is required, what we should take, and what is available to take. By doing so, it makes our job and the process much simpler, because all we need to do is choose a professor and a time.

There is a lot of independence given in registering for college classes. Though there are core requirements, I like the fact that you are able to choose the professor and times you want. Before registering, I am definitely going to read reviews about professors because I don’t want to be stuck with a bad professor and have no motivation to do well in the class.

Registering for classes in college is so new and different. Maybe because we actually get to  choose the professors and the times we want to take the class. There’s so much freedom to it. In high school, the only thing I got to choose was a gym class. One problem I think I’m going to face is not enough seats in the classes I want. One thing I learned from this process is organizing my time so that I have time to study and work. Hopefully everything works out and I get the schedule I made.
