Do they really matter in the climb to stardom

Well self proposed stardom

I never thought a number mattered

I just thought posting my own thoughts online

Would never get me anywhere

But I was wrong

People message me every day

“You’re a huge inspiration to me”

“I look up to you so much”

“I wish I could have your life”

Is this what fame is

People loving you, when they don’t even know you?

People coming up to you at events,

Saying they love what you write on your twitter,

And your blog.

I don’t think any of that even matters

It’s like I’ve always been “famous”

Fame comes from the inside, not the outside

If you feel famous on the inside, the rest will come

I walk down the street like a star,

Until that lie becomes the truth.

I’m becoming my own self fulfilled prophecy.

Hello everyone, my name is Jeri Gennaro but you probably already know that. I chose to do the “10 songs that describe you” portion of this assignment, because my life literally revolves around music and everything that goes along with it. I’ve been involved in music since I was very young, because my dad is professional musician. I learned to play drums from him when I was around 6 years old, and I still play to this day.

Every song in this playlist is relevant either to my life currently, or to prior experiences that happened to me in my past. I actually sat down and read all of the lyrics to all of these songs, and realized that they all relate to me in one way or another. Some might describe my personality, some might describe experiences that I’ve had, or some might describe things I want to be. Either way, when you listen to these songs, know that you’re getting an accurate representation of my personality.
