  1. The article is basically talking about occupy wall street and how it all went down. The whole thing began in the first place because of growing gap between the super rich and everyone else and all the problems the issues that are coming from the rich people screwing us over. Regular college students are left with huge debts coming out college unable even find half decent job because we are considered to be “overqualified”. A million college students vowed to not pay back their students loans and only 3000 took the pledge according to the article. It just goes to show the whole thing started out with good intentions and failed pretty horribly. The article leaves off the reader with a sense of hope for change.

  2. This article just reminds me how fucked up our government is. Our system’s fucked up. Education should never be limited.

  3. I think that this article lets college students become aware of what the possibilities are once they leave college. Also this situation limits the the futures of students since they also have to pay off their debts before starting a major career.

  4. This article is about a young college woman named, Ashley Ward. She was the first college student to start the occupation movement for college students. This movement began to spread all over the United States universities. There were three thousand people who pledged to this movement in one month. Their goal is to try to get jobs to the young people who graduate from college. They believe this occupy movement will start moving because there are more of them than the ones they are protesting to.

  5. The article shows how the society is going on. Everything is related money so one who has no money is limited to do something as one of the people had a debt even before fetting a job. And I am worried about if this will be worse than now when I graduate from college

  6. The article discusses the impact and relevance of the OH movement to college students. It is unfortunate how wealth determines power and authority in society. Graduates are struggling to pay student loans and are deemed overqualified to work at a minimum paying job.

  7. Man, I wish I was like Ashley Ward. Ashley Ward, as in, I ward off all evil corporations. I’m so jealous/envious of her passion to lead such a movement.I would never be able to do that. Sacrificing my time and effort camping. Although, I can’t say the same about her current financial issues. BUT YAH GO GIRL. Supporting you all the way! If you think shes going to change this alone, you’re wrong guys! I suggest you to all go out and camp as well. Don’t bring any weed or syringes. Thats hippy status. You know what they say, anythin with crack is never a good thing. Example, butt crack, wall crack, ipod crack, and crack. I’m not going though but thats okay. Supporting all the way! : )

  8. This article shows how messed up our world is, and how authorities are not even willing to change our system because they’re the ones who have the money and power. They don’t care about us middle class and lower class people. As long as they have their money, its ok for them, but they don’t realize how hard it is to be in a tough financial situation, and don’t struggle through life as others do, which is why many individuals clash. College students had every right to protest because the system is not right. Theres no balance, and I dont think there ever will be.

  9. The article was about College students being in DEBT. It talked about how messed up the educating system is and it wants young students to realize how messed up the system is and that it has to change.

  10. Individuals in position of power, are periodically challenged when they ineptly become corrupt. This challenge often comes from the student youth, who are cognizant and not unoblivious to the socio-poltiical constructs that define their lives. We as students thus must take it upon ourselves to become aware of conditions that define our environmental constructs, and redefine them to fit our social and ethical needs.

  11. There is not anything a middle class person can do to stop the banks from what they are doing. The Occupy Wall Street movement proved this there has not been and drastic changes and there will not be until someone confronts the banks on their wrong doing

  12. this article is pretty much talking about how all these movements against the government are coming about. us as the middle class dont have much of a say in things and thats beginning to bother people more and more. us as students are suffering from severe debt and just want a way out. were looking towards our government for help

  13. The article responds to the growing issues facing the college student and recent graduate demographic. It voices frustration with economics, privilege, etc.

  14. Okay, I’m gonna be honest here, cause why the fuck not. I hate Occupy Wall Street. I really do. I’m that girl in Un Sq who will get into heated debates and arguments with the Occupy supporters that are still chilling in that general area. When Occupy first came about, I thought it was so cool, such an incredible idea, then I went to see it for myself. Zucotti Park was a diagrace. The whole thing was just such a lame excuse for having public sex and drug use and a place for many people to sleep. It could have been so much more too, but there was never any set list of demands brought forward by the protesters. It was just ultimately disappointing. A great premise, a great location, horrible execution.

  15. This article talks about occupy wall street and the issues at hand worth protesting over. Mainly about the debt that college kids find themselves in after graduation. Cant wait to be one of the many… not.
