I really enjoyed the workshops where we all had to stand up and take sides on whether we strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree or stay neutral on certain points. These workshops helped me see the different perspectives and opinions my classmates offered. It also made me recognize where I would stand on certain issues.

My favorite workshop is the investment banking workshop. I’ve learned a lot about investment banking in that workshop. And I also learned the “right” format of resume for investment bankers and the “right answers” for some weird questions. For example, if people asked you what type of animal you are, you shouldn’t say shark, wolf, lion, etc. The correct answer is ant because ant works long hours and is able to work “overloadedly” (They carry stuff more than their weights). I’ve learned a lot of invaluable things from that workshop, so I really like it. Moreover, the speaker is really funny.

My favorite enrichment workshop was the presentation brought to Baruch by NYU. It was a funny and great way to start off the year. I understood that not only I was worried about my transition to college, but that they were typical symptoms upon the transition. I initially had the fear of going to school in the city, as I rarely went to the city unless it was necessary. It was an interactive and engaging presentation that allowed freshmen to feel connected and less fearful of what college will bring to us.

I love Baruch Voices. The monologues illustrate how everyone has a particular moment that noone else may have. I love those humors in the monologues that were presented both in the beginning of freshman seminar and today. I hope Baruch does not end this workshop. It’s the best out of all and tells us what Baruch students are like.

My favorite workshop is the Baruch Voices. During both the Convocation and the one that took place during freshman seminar, it was interesting to listen to the feelings and expressions of others. It made me feel like this world is complicated and can’t be taken as an easy place to live. The presentations are outstanding and these young actors have done a fine job portraying the minds of others.

I liked a lot of workshops. I found myself learning new things as well as things about myself. The one workshop I would say my favorite was Baruch Voices. During the convocation, I really enjoyed learning about different types of writing and also i found them to be inspiring. One of the monologue that I really found interesting was the one about the perspective of a clock. During the convocation,I though to myself how cool it would have been for professional actors to read my work. My wish came true when they read my monologue during the last Baruch Voices. I am thankful for who ever choose my monologue and the actor who read my monologue.

I thought the Baruch Voices was the best workshop that we did this semester. Coming up with a monologue really forced me to think about what’s important to me (the fact that I didn’t have to think long doesn’t matter too much…), and figure out a way to put some of my fears about it into words. Seeing the Voices performed was really fun and a few of them in particular really resonated with me. Easily the coolest one so for.

My favorite workshop was definitely the Voices assembly this past Thursday. Firstly, it was nice to see my fellow classmates’ monologues performed on stage — the performers were able to enhance the already great monologues on stage via their skills. Secondly, the monologues that people wrote were revealing, humorous, and heartwarming — it humanized the entire freshman class; it made me realize that though we all are a part of a massive freshman class, we all are creative individuals each with our strengths and weaknesses, flaws and admirable qualities, and stresses and joys. Finally, it represented something to me — my integration into the Baruch community. On convocation I came to Baruch and listened to monologues written by current sophomores, but hearing our monologues on stage made me feel completely integrated into the Baruch community.

I enjoyed the agree or disagree workshop because it made you think about your position on a situation, and allows you to hear both sides of the situation when people explain their choice. Plus, I got to see where my classmates stood on an issue.

Obviously my favorite workshop has to be voices. we were able to sit there and stare at these acts without having to retain the information for anything important. It was interesting to listen to the last voices because it was from my actual graduating class and considering i don’t know everyone in this grade, i got an understanding of most people.

My favorite workshop was the Voice. It was very enjoyable and i actually liked staying there. It was also interesting to see our own peers having their monologue go up. especially the monologue with the bacon which was very funny. That was probably the best monologue too. It was a great experience.

I had really enjoyed voice; it provided a preview of other freshman’s monologue and their creativity as well as listening to one of our groups. As always the Asian guy performs the most unique and peculiar monologues.

The voices were easily my favorite workshop. Between the funny monologues, the thoughtful ones, and the utterly depressing ones I was thoroughly entertained. Whoever that asian guy was, he deserves a freaking medal for his performance. Other than that, it was just another cool thing to see.

I really enjoyed the voices workshop because the actors were entertaining, the monologues were enlightening, and at times funny, and I had an overall good time. It also was engaging and creative and I like that you can relate to some monologues, with the stress of college or similar issues you are going through, and relax and laugh with other monologues. Baruch students are really funny.

My favorite workshop was the one with the Voices because all the performers were really good and some of the performances were hilarious. They were very interesting and caught my attention. Some of them I couldn’t believe were written by students because they were written so well. I like to write and it gave me more ideas about the different ways things could be written or described. Also, since I heard a monologue during the Voices that I recognized came from a classmate, it made it that much more interesting. It was fun.

Okay so apparently everyone liked the voices which was my favorite too but I would have to say I really enjoyed the workshop about discrimination and prejudice. It taught me to say “ouch” or “I didn’t appreciate that,” when someone says something that is discriminatory to me or to someone else.

My favourite one is Baruch Voices. The performance was very entertaining, and moreover, it let me know that I’m not the only one who’s worrying about college. It’s good to see people of different backgrounds going to college and feeling the same!

My favorite enrichment workshop: Baruch Voices. Writing our own monologues was fun and easy, a great way to share lingering thoughts. Especially interesting was the idea of knowing that professional actors would be speaking the best monologues. All were very creative and no one was, in whole, better than another.
