This photo on top explains what I’ve been doing during my first semester here in Baruch. I procrastinate a lot and spend my time doing other things( shop, Facebook, hang-out with friends).That is why when the due date for an assignment comes, I rush and spend the whole night doing it. I don’t even proofread it and just give whatever I have.So next semester, I have to get rid of this habit and need to engage myself to be more productive. I wish!!!

Overall, my first semester is not that bad. I’ve met friends and spent a lot of time together. We did the new york times and new york cares project together and had fun. The classes are not that hard and the professors are very helpful.

I volunteered in Rockaway area where I helped the victims of hurricane Sandy. Our mission was to revitalize the garden that was devastated by the hurricane. I helped to pull out weeds and fertilize the soil. Even though it was raining at that time, I had fun. I felt like I was home since back in our country, we have this little farm where we plant vegetables and fruits.Overall, the project was amazing and learned some stuffs.

Hi ! I’m Jeanne. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I am a shy person but sometimes a little loud to those person I am comfortable with like my sister. The third photo is me and my sister. Every time we hang out, we like to take pictures and do crazy stuffs. I was also the one who influenced her to watch Korean Dramas. Yes, I am a fan of Korean Dramas that’s why I put a photo of my favorite actors.
Some of the photos are my best memories in High School. During our Senior year, we had different activities like to dress up in a particular theme. I participated the “character day” and I was a Minnie Mouse. It was fun seeing my batch mates wearing different costumes. We took a lot of pictures and enjoyed the rest of the day.
