This is my first time I take the NY Cares. My project was to take care of the old poeple. I was so shoceked because I was the first one who arrived the building. I asked the leaders are there any other people here? The leader told me they all concelled because this weekend was Hallow weekend. As a reuslt, I had to finish a lot of work just by myself. LOL~
This also is my first time to see a great number of old and poor people in NYC. I did not realized that even in the small place, there are still a lot of old and poor people here. Some of them suffered from the Sandy last year. They were homeless and helpless. I am happy to see there are a few people who try to help them.
