NY Times reflection

I found what I learned during my New York Times project to be very interesting. Our group covered the subject of racism. It was astonishing to see the effects of racism to be prevalent to the extent that they are in our current society. I also found my own personal article to be very interesting because it combined something which I’m passionate about, sports, with the issue of racism. It was very interesting to read about the first real breakthrough of the desegregation of sports back during the civil rights movement.
