Stress Reduced
Mahipaul Sathu
Transitioning from high school to college has been a journey. I remember my first week at Baruch and the difficulties I experienced. I felt the pressure as the work load would pick up leaving me stressed. I had to put more time and effort into studying, prepping for classes and managing my time. Throughout high school I never had to do so, leaving me to find a rhythm that will help me in college. Comparing myself from the start of college to the present has changed me into a person who is ready for the upcoming semesters. My first semester has taught me everything that is needed to be successful in college, this being the ability to multi task and handle tremendous amounts of work. Besides the workload of college I have been able to find time to have fun through the various amounts of clubs and activities the school offers. The people in Baruch are some of the friendliest people I have met and makes you feel welcomed. Baruch has an atmosphere that makes me feel happy to be a bearcat and glad to be a future alumni.
