Our trip to the Robin Museum of Art was an educational and emotional one. The building created an immersive atmosphere with its use of lighting and the layout of the floors. Walking through the galleries makes one forget they were just walking the busy streets of New York City. The museum featured galleries of breathtaking Buddhist art. One particular room that was especially memorable was the room that had a single artwork that filled that surrounding walls. While it did not serve as an eye opener for me as I am familiar with Buddhism, it did expand my knowledge of the culture. It was fascinating to view these Buddhist art as it shows how diverse New York is.
