Going to the Mishkin Art Gallery, I learned to appreciate art more. I was never an art person so for the first time I listened to the stories behind each painting and enjoyed them. Every painting or photograph in the art gallery had a unique story behind each one and was very significant to the outcome of the piece. Though it was a pretty small art gallery, I felt I learned tons of information. I also feel that when I visit more art galleries, I will be more interested in the story behind other paintings rather than the actual look of the piece.

I feel that this picture represents my time at Baruch because so far, my time here has been the beginning of a journey. Just leaving high school and entering college, I believe I am just beginning a long, drawn out, and thrilling journey. Personally, I have loved the first 3 months of Baruch. I love my classes, I have been able to join clubs, and most importantly, I have made long lasting friends. There are a lot of different aspects that I need to get used to such as waking up SUPER early and commuting for 3 hours but I know I will get accustomed to everything throughout my 4 years here. Though it’s the beginning of my college career, I have loved it so far and cannot wait to see what lies in store for the future!
