My experience at at this school is pretty much what I expected. I expected a commuter school where there’s none of the “typical college life” experience. I’m glad I am still in the city because I love the city. I do wish there was some campus life but it’s the choice that I was willing to take to go here. Although it is quite a change from a 8-4 30 schedule, I like it.  I like my classes this semester. Hope to go abroad.

I learned several things about the Buddhist culture from the museum. They have several goals.  Apparently, in buddhism, getting to the top of the mountain is a goal.  Another goal is not to be reborn. There was a shrine room. The Buddhist statues have different hand gestures to symbolize different things. I never knew this before.

My best friends all throughout high school. This picture is a thousand memories. 

I have been dancing since I was 5 years old. This is me in the nutcracker that I do every year at my ballet school. The other half of my highschool was dedicated to being a dance major. Two of my best friends from dance are at baruch with me now and  I couldn’t be happier about that. They understand more about me than many other people can.

This is me and my mom. I live with my mom, and my parents are divorced. My dad lives in london.

My entire family (from both sides) is from Russia. I was born in the United States but then i moved to Russia, lived there for some time then moved back here and have gone back to Russia practically every single year.

I love New York City. I strongly believethat you can’t be bored in the city- you have to be doing something wrong. It is an amazing city and it is very different from anything else. I love it.

I am already fluent in Russian and English, but I am trying to learn french. One of the best times I have ever had was two summers ago when i went to Nice, France with my best friend for 5 weeks. I also go to Ocean Grove every summer for labor day weekend. I love Ocean Grove like crazy and Sarah shares my love for it with me.

I miss LaGuardia a lot.
