Hola folks, my name is Grace Kim and the included slideshow is a visual projection of my personality, hobbies, and things that I fancy. The first picture is a karaoke machine because I love to sing, though I’m not very good at it. When I karaoke, I pour all my stress into my songs and when the session is over, I always feel refreshed and ready for a challenge. The second picture is to highlight my orientation to detail. Anyone can see that whoever crafted this dress spent days, probably, meticulously perfecting its hem. Likewise, I am keen on thoroughly examining each component of a project until I am confident in my work. The third image captures my infatuation for the color black. I feel most confident and secure when I am wearing black because it is the armor to my soldier. Also, you just really can’t go wrong with black. Black is life. I’ve chosen the Marvel logo as my fourth image because I am rather obsessed with superheros and superpowers, including the entire universe that Marvel has created for them. The fifth image is of sushi because sushi and I are BFFs. It’s just the most delectable food that has a wonderful balance of flavors that I will always have the appetite for. Overall, I am a huge fan of Japanese Cuisine due to its “light” nature. Sixth is the movie poster for my favorite movie, Disney’s “Tangled.” This movie speaks directly to me because it reflects virtually the same predicament that I am currently in. Like Rapunzel, I feel trapped in my environment and I want to feel the world for myself instead of living under the clutched hand of my mother. The seventh image is of one of the items on my bucket-list. I wish to one day, take my closest friends and drive cross-country whilst singing along to songs on the radio to Nevada’s desert and observe the Andromeda galaxy under the night sky with all of us laying on a blanket. Lastly, the eighth image is of a stainless steel table. This signifies my blunt nature and my tendency to say it like it is instead of sugar-coating it.
