Monologue

“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”

There are going to be those up and downs moments that I just have to fight through. With perseverance I am going to get passed anything. The word “limits” is not even in my vocabulary. Once I put “limits” on something I do — physical or anything —  it will spread into my life and work ethics. That is why when there is a problem in-front of me, I can do either of two things; cower before it or walk right through it. And I know which path I will walk through.

The importance of exercise and my own physical well-being is tended to be overlooked, because of all the time and energy I spend focused on my own personal pursuits. Going to the gym as it gets colder is not as easy as sleeping in a nice, warm bed, but I will feel much better about myself once doing it.

“Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.”
