Family – The word family means home, comfort, respect, love, and forever friendships. My family means the world to me. My family consists mostly of girls obviously because “Who runs the world? Girls!” We are all pretty close in age therefore we are extremely close and I don’t know where I would be without them.
New York City – New York is the city that never sleeps. I have lived here all my life and I don’t think that I could ever live any place else. The fast pace lifestyle, the many different cultures, the unending list of things you could do. No other place can compare.
Party – I wouldn’t say I’m a “party animal” but when there is a party I like to have a good time. I get this trait from my father, the ultimate life of the party.
Love for the Caribbean – I am of Guyanese decent. I love my culture from the music to the food and the people. One of the pictures in my slideshow is my favorite Caribbean artist. Through soca music I am able to let go, be myself, and relieve all my stress and responsibilities.
Baruch College – It was quite the journey to get into Baruch but as you can see all my hard work payed off. This has been my dream school since freshman year of high school. I am so grateful to be here and my goal is to be successful and make myself as well as my family proud.
Traveling – All throughout my life, my parents took me and my sister on countless vacations. I love the feeling of jet-setting to different places and being able to explore what different countries have to offer.
Love – I love, love. ❤

I enjoy working hard for a better future and at the same time have fun with friends. It is always good to be curious about the world and have a positive attitude to find out more about it. I also would like to tutor people in math. I really enjoy city life, where there are many opportunities and shops. My active side involves running, biking, and some parts of tennis.

^ That there is the link to my latest mixtape. I dont really rap anymore but I very much appreciate the power of music and I still love the rap culture. It took me only a few months to make it cause I tried to do it as quickly as possible. Its not my first mixtape, just the latest. Its actually one of seven or even eight. I have been rapping for a while and I have been writing for even longer. I still write, its one of my favorite things to do.
The tracklist goes as follows: Chit Chat With Larry (Skit), Ready or Not, C’est La Vie, I’m Not The One, The Way You Look Tonight, My Grind, Comin’ Down, Miss Baker, Love, No Way In, Home, Struggling, Apocalyptic Freestyle, (Bonus) Change of Heart Remix.
This is a sequel to my mixtape, ‘J.A.W.S’, which stands for ‘Just A Writer’s Stress’. I worked hard on it and I feel like these songs say a lot about me.

My mother and father are both 100% Croatian. My father was actually born there. I love to visit Croatia during the summers, its a beautiful vacation spot. I have a bunch of family members that live there so its always nice catching up with them.
My whole life I have been playing basketball and baseball competitively. I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if it wasn’t for playing sports my whole life. Playing sports shaped me into the person I am today.
I would like to think of myself as hardworking, attentive, patient, and determined. These four qualities will hopefully lead me toward my goal of passing the CPA exam and becoming an accountant.

Slipknot-Duality
I have always heard about Slipknot, but I actually never heard any of their songs. I thought they looked creepy with their masks. A few weeks ago I randomly started watching their videos on youtube. I heard this song and instantly liked it. The song is about facing struggles and pain and that you just have to go through it.
La gota fria-Carlos Vives
Carlos vives is a Colombian singer and composer. La gota fria is a classic colombian party song. The actual song is from 1938, but this is the most famous cover. The genre of the song is vallenato. This song basically represent me as a Colombian.
Get Lucky-Daft Punk
Get lucky was my favorite summer song of 2013. It has is a very catchy song and I never get tired of hearing it. Its just a good pop/electronic song. Its a song about having fun and a good time and who doesn’t like that?
Arcade Fire-The Suburbs
I heard this song when it cam out in 9th grade. I went all throughout high school with this song. For me this song represents growing up and everyone changing. Everything gets more complicated as you become older. It was like I was living this song growing up during high school.
Goldfinger-Superman
This 90’s song was played in an old Tony Hawk Pro Skater videogame. It brings me back to being a little kid fooling around. The meanig of the song is how you grow up so fast and how you have to change and act your age, which is something we all go through.
Public Enemy-Harder than you think
I first heard this song in the opening of the movie End of watch. For me this song represents how you empower yourself by education, your own morality and challenging the right authority. It also has a nice beat.
Billy Joel-It’s still rock and roll to me
Thi song is about being yourself. About being an individual, being your own person. Billy talks about the latest trends, being in style and having the latest things, but at the end, it’s about what you like.
Fitz & the Trantrums-Moneygrabber
The song is catchy. It has an old-school feel to it. The song is about a golddigger. It is such an upbeat song that it is also my alarm in the morning.
Rick Ross-Stay Schemin
This hip-hop song reminds me of two of my friends in 10th grade. We were walking out of chemistry tutoring afterschool and one of us played the song on our phone. My friend Alla started with rick ross’ verse, my friend Jahrew went with drake’s verse and I finished it with french’s verse. It was so random and unexpected, it is a memory with my friends I still remember.
Bastille-Pompeii
The lead singer actually described the song being conversation between two of the people of the city of Pompeii as it is being destroyed by the volcano. It is a nice and catchy song.
Post One: Playlist and ~500 words
(In no particular order)
1.Cold Hearted by Jack and Jack
2All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor
3Latch by Sam Smith
4Drugz by Iggy Azalea
5I’m Out by Ciara ft. Nicki Minaj
6Single Ladies by Beyonce
-ANY SONG BY NICKI MINAJ
7Without Me by Eminem
8Before I Forget by Slipknot
9Man of the Year by SchoolBoy Q
10Rope – Foo Fighters
Well I love any song with a good beat. (Numbers 1, 4, 6, 7, and 9). Number 2 speaks to the thicker women of the world and I really like it because I believe that women really need to stop trying to make themselves look like the models they see in Victoria’s Secret. And as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned that the guy’s perspective of a woman’s physicality has changed. Now guys want more junk in the trunk haha! Number 3 is just the typical sappy song everyone has in their playlist. Number 8 and 10 are my contrasting songs and the songs that people would never guess I would listen to.
