I went to a STARR career development Internship Seminar on November 21st. Since I normally don’t have classes on a Friday, and Tuesday we were following a Friday schedule, I had to come in just to attend this seminar! First thoughts were: NOT EXCITED! However, I am really happy that I did! The guy who spoke and the powerpoints he created made it very easy to follow. It was in a small room on the VC3-190, so it was very intimate and made it easier to ask questions. He went over how to go about getting internships and specific steps you may need to take that you weren’t aware of. Already not being sure about my major, this showed me that I should take some internships that may help me find my interests! Definitely would suggest anyone not sure in what they want to do to attend!
