Career

This is a photo from my trip to Virgina with NABA (National Association for Black Accountants) for ERC (Eastern Regional Conference) for 4 days. Up there we had the opportunity to meet with representatives from over 50 different accounting firms, including the big 4 firms. They gave us the opportunity to attend various seminars, whether it was learning the basics of excel, to learning how to conduct yourself when out to eat (table etiquette) to working with case studies and applying finance and accounting based lessons and concepts to real life situations. This opportunity gave the other freshmen in this picture and myself the opportunity to experience something that I feel is extremely important to the development of our professional careers.
