Right after class I went over to the Baruch Hillel on the 3rd floor. The second I walked all the students and faculty members asked me my name and were so nice. They explained to me the different kosher food they sell and have. They also have many classes on religious studies with pizza or food. That is good to know because there is not so much access to kosher food while studying in Baruch College. They also informed me of the midday services they have. This was crucial because sometimes I need to pray in the middle of the day and no i know where to go. Also they have this 7 dollar kosher sandwich deal. Since kosher food is so expensive which is perfect when i’m in a rush just run over and grab some food. The actual environment of the hillel was a great chill. There were people eating hanging out working learning. It was really nice to have such a diverse group of jews all just trying to enjoy their time in college. Also, it is right next to the ping pong and pool room so i saw some pretty intense games of that which was cool. Also, the coaches and chairs are super comfy great place to work in the future. I want to thank FRO for having me really give the Hillel a shot and see what it is about.
