Baruch College has over one hundred and sixty clubs and organizations. Each club and organization has its own characteristics and develops different interests for students. Most Undergraduate Clubs meet on Thursdays from 12:40 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Chinese Christian Fellowship is one of those clubs and organizations. I got to the 10th floor early, but the general interest meeting of clubs hadn’t start yet. By chance, I got Chinese Christian Fellowship’s little publicity paper. At that time, I hadn’t decided which club to go to. I chatted with my friend when we had a round trip on the 10th floor. When we walked to Room 10-140, we found that the meeting was about time to begin. At that time, I walked into the room of CCF (Chinese Christian Fellowship). The people who stood in the front of the door were very nice and enthusiasm. They invited me in and sat down to have a look. I accepted their invitation and had a seat.
In the beginning, the president told us a cool joke to ease the atmosphere, but I thought he was trying to relieve his pressure. We began to line up for lunch. We made a prayer before we ate. The prayers said “Pray for food, pray for those who prepare food. Thank God for giving us food and keeping us all together. Amen.” When we were about to finish, the president walked over to everyone with garbage bag and said, “Have you finished? If you finish eating, you can throw the rubbish here.” By this action, he was so conscientious. The meeting probably had three major parts. Frist, play games. The game rule was if you lost, showed off your talent. After several rounds of competition, one man lost, and he began to sing. It was very fun. Second, sing. We started singing songs about Christian. Some songs, and even created by member of the club. Third, campus raiders. One member talked about the benefits that Baruch students had and the conditions at Baruch College. What’ more, prayer is the act of actively communicating with God or spiritual individuals to praise, pray, repent, or express one’s thoughts or visions. Knowing something about Christian is a good experience. And it is a good time to meet new friends and broaden one’s horizons.
