Assignment One

Elizabeth Bautista is my name. That’s basically my given identity, but for who I really think I am…I am just like you; yet not like you. I make mistakes but learn from them but above all, i always try my best in life to move onwards onto the right path. I am someone who cares and cherishes her friends because I know there unique value. Everything i do and everything I say is with good intention because I believe in making the best of everything. So to sum it all up, i am a content human being just trying to get through life while learning from the bumps in life.

Now that i’ve entered Baruch, i have noticed that there are three small concerns on my mind. The first is concentrating and giving my all to school work while working. This is a major concern because it is already affecting me. I sometimes don’t have time to finish completing my assignments, so in the end, i end up doing bad. Another concern is keeping my GPA high because i feel that once i do bad, i won’t be able to get it back up. The last concern i have is being misinformed about anything. I feel that sometimes i don’t realize what is going on because of a certain reason and that prevents me from possibly losing track College information.

Baruch college; from the beginning has already been very different from high school. Personally, i believe that this is a good thing because i actually like college. As fun as high school was, that is meant for younger people. I think that college is well suited for those who have properly matured because it requires a lot of responsibility. One major difference is that its less sociable. Not that there aren’t friends or anything, but i think high school was more of a social place; as opposed to college being a study place.

My first year at college has already began to change me, actually. One way that it has changed me was making me a lot more dependent on myself. I’ve always been an independent person, but not to the level at which i stand today. Being independent has also brought me to becoming more mature, which is a great thing to have because it is able to help you grow and interact better with others. Another way in which i think that college will change me, is that i will be expanding my knowledge to a much higher intellect level; and i can’t wait for all of that.
