Freshman Seminar Spring 2011: F6A

We live in groups. We can’t be too obstinate since we are not alone in the world. Sometimes we have to learn how people feel about us. We need to be honest and try our best not to let people down. Those people who have high expectation on us are the ones we need to appreciate. They encourage us to enrich ourselves and to explore our potentials. We might do things well, which we have never imagine we can do.

  In order to achieve our goals, we need a good social network. Good communication skills are well needed, especially for a public speaker. Even in our daily life, we have to make ourselves clear enough to pass the message we would like people to know and get the best feedback from them.

  College is actually a really good place to build our social network and to get as much knowledge as we can. Here we enjoy the journey of learning and also make friend who might be our friends forever. College is always one of my dreams. I know I will meet so many people in college. For me, being rich in friends means being rich in happiness. And I also know that I will not only learn professional knowledge but also learn to be brave enough to face the challenges and learn how to get over the difficulties in my future life. With all the friends I will meet and all those I will learn in college, I know my life is going to change into a very different way. I am looking forward to it.
