Final post instructions
Due 5/14/2013, before midnight.
Instructions:
Create or find a photograph or some other image (a meme, an animated GIF, etc.) that represents in some way your experience at Baruch thus far. Embed your image in a blog post in which you reflect, in no more than 500 words, on your impressions of your first three months at Baruch. Your response should be personal and creative. If you use an image that you did not create yourself, be sure to credit the source with a name, if possible, and an URL.
couple example questions you could answer are:
Did being part of freshman seminar help you during your first semester? Was there a workshop that you especially enjoyed?
Have fun with the assignment!

My first semester Baruch went very well. I got to meet new people and make some good friends. During the semester I cans say I became more mature but a little reckless on spending money (which probably is going to get worse) but I’m trying my best. This year was a new and fun experience that I wish to continue to have during the rest of my stay at Baruch.

I liked the workshop that taught us how to manage stress more. Sometimes freshmen become distress during their first year of college since adapting from high school to college requires a great amount of effort and focus. This workshops was helpful for all of us surely because our courses’ assignments/test challenge us significantly. The difference between high school and college is that the students depend on themselves more than on others, like teachers or parents. Thanks to this workshop, I found a helpful way to deal with school stress. While FRO offered many great educational sessions, it also made it fun. It’s fine as it is–It does not need any changes!

My favorite Work shop was the stress Workshop. Everybody have stresses some point at their life and they need to learn how to handle their stress and be healthy. I skipped a semester of college and now I am getting back on track, things might be uneasy for me at times. Another reason is because I work and I go to school, time is hard to manage at times and I do get stressful. Stress workshop really help me learn how to handle my stress in a positive way.

Third blog from Lui, Kwok Po
I like Sidney Mishkin Gallery very much since i saw a lot of painting from the gallery. The gallery itself is huge with collection. I am relaxed during the session. The experience is simply amazing for me. It is because the gallery is full of Chinese art that i am familiar with. It also help to release the stress from my mind by looking at these painting.

Time lost cant be found – Efren Garcia
One of the most valuable thing that we all have is time. No amount of money & nothing at all can give you back time. People forget how precious time is. So in saying that,I live everyday as if it were my last day on earth, tomorrow is never promised so be grateful for what you have today. Appreciate all those who have love for you cause you never know when there time is up. I learned that lesson a little too late. But I’ve grown & promised myself that would never happen again. Everything should be acknowledged and appreciated where need be,from the smallest act of kindness to your little brother wanting you to take him for some ice cream. If I were to die today,I would want to go knowing I fixed all my wrongs and did everything I could to keep those who needed a friend happy. No matter how hard you want to get time back you cant. So live as if there were no tomorrow, without regret and with balance.
