Workshops
My favorite Work shop was the stress Workshop. Everybody have stresses some point at their life and they need to learn how to handle their stress and be healthy. I skipped a semester of college and now I am getting back on track, things might be uneasy for me at times. Another reason is because I work and I go to school, time is hard to manage at times and I do get stressful. Stress workshop really help me learn how to handle my stress in a positive way.

Georgian VS. New Yorker
I move from Georgia to New York and I see a huge difference between Georgian and New Yorkers. Georgians manage their life very well. There are easy transportations such as the subway. Every family must own a car in order to get them around places. Most familes own a house so they do not have to move from places to places. Everybody is happy in some ways. They know how to relax on their off days.
Now I consider I am a New Yorker. I know exactly how the subwway runs in New York. Nobody smiles . Everybody have something to think about in their mind. They can never truly relax because they have something in mind everyday. A lot of the people live alone in New York.

Who I think I am ( Szepei Cheung)
I am always who I am and I never try to be anybody else. So let me introduce myself here to you . Me name is szepei cheung and is pronounced “c-pei”. I am from china and I came to America when I was 11, first I landed at Atlanta, Georgia then I decided to move to New York half a year ago. I go to baruch college in manhattan planning to major in finance. New York was definitely a different experience for me. New York is not a just a state to me, it is a new world to me compared to Georgia. The crowd-ness , the diversity, and uniqueness among every New Yorker excites me. There are definitely a lot to learn in the big new world. Despite the new excitement in the big city, I really missed my mom and her cookings. It is very comforting to have someone to prepare your foods everytime. And I am very thankful for that. I clearly remenber her giving me little lessons before I came to New york. She specifically told me to think through and make the right decision because now I am alone in NY and no one will be there to look after me. Coming to New York was not an easy thing. I have to work to support my own life because I want my mom to believe that I can be indepedent without her. To be honest, I was very scared at first. I was scared that I will take the subway and eventually ended up at an unknown location. I was so afraid to bump into strangers in sidewalk and they will get mad and beat me up. I was scared to not have any friends. But now , I am not scared anymore, I know exactly how the subway system works, I have friends that will be there for me whenever I need them and I will do the same thing to them too. Coming to New York definistly shaped who I truly am because I make my own decisions. In Georgia I was just a baby that listen to whatever my mom tells me to do .
