 My first semester at  Baruch was an interesting experience and one that wont be forgotten. I never really relied on anyone to get   stuff done so I had the same mindset going into college. I have remained focused and motivated to better myself day by day.I have also learned that time management is key in order to be a successful college student. Going through  freshman orientation was very helpful in learning about what the school has to offer and where to go if you need help for a class or anything in general. I feel like that class was one that will definitely  pay off in the long run. Being in blocks also made the transition from high school to college go smoothly. I met a lot of cool people that each have their story to tell & who I wish the best in their future whether it be in Baruch or life in general. I cant wait to see what my future in Baruch has in store for me. You cant go beyond what there’s no limit too . I feel blessed to be where I’m at today & I’m not going to let this opportunity go to waste. The way I see it, we have the world in our hands. Its on us to decide what we want  to do with it.

One of the most valuable thing that we all have is time. No amount of money & nothing at all can give you back time. People forget how precious time is. So in saying that,I live everyday as if it were my last day on earth,tomorrow is never promised so be grateful for what you have today. Appreciate all those who have love for you cause you never know when there time is up. I learned that lesson a little too late. But I’ve grown & promised myself that would never happen again. Everything should be acknowledged and appreciated where need be,from the smallest act of kindness to your little brother wanting you to take him for some ice cream. If I were to die today,I would want to go knowing I fixed all my wrongs and did everything I could to keep those who needed a friend happy. No matter how hard you want to get time back you cant. So live as if there were no tomorrow,without regret and with balance.

The songs I have chosen are all related to a certain point in my life. From my highs to my lows,all this songs show how one can overcome whats holding them back. Most of these songs motivate me daily and provide the fuel I need to be the best person I can. They send a message of hope,love and history. I have nothing much left to say,I’ll let the music do the rest of the talking.
