Hi I’d like to introduce you to Mark. im 25 and i have two kids Leila and Jason. The type to always have a job, but i love my free time. i would really like to be a rapper, i love music, and i dont mind listening to any type. if that isnt possible tho id love to be a psycologist. i dont sleep much and i barely ever dream, dunno thought that would be a bit interesting. i try and keep an open mind and generally respect other people. I love working out playing sports driving and just hanging out sometimes. i am guyanese, i came to the United States when i was 7. im a pretty quiet person, but my goal is to kinda break out of that shell. i laugh and smile alot because ever since my car acident last year im appreciating and enjoying everything even simple things like walking and running. i try not to be a dick but some times it cant be helped. i love to read manga and plan on visiting japan in the near future.

Hey! my name is Carlos. I’m 21yr. I was born in the beautiful tropical city of Panama. I love life and enjoy traveling, going to new places. I’m outgoing and enjoy meeting new people. I love my mother she is the #1 person in my life, next comes my sister. I consider myself to be a family oriented person. I moved to the US at the age of 12 and it wasn’t an easy transition specially since i couldn’t speak or write in English. I currently work in a high school and i love my job because it allows me to help other kids and advise them on things that they shouldn’t be doing like slacking in school and getting involved in criminal activity’s although some days they make me not want kids of my own ever!!!. I’m just grateful for the little thing but i still like to pamper myself and i lust for the lavish life nothing more, nothing less, no regrets!

I wrote a poem called Whats on your mind?

He asked me whats on my mind?
Is it work? Is it school? Tell me
    And I say its you
No amount of money can buy my love and no amount of education can take me higher then where he can lead me. Money comes and goes and when it comes to school as hard as it was to learn its easily forgotten
Im greedy for power. To control his heart so he can feel me run through his veins and take ahold of something pure.
So that he may never leave me but only love me. And he asked me what’s on my mind?
Maybe Im overthinking it and maybe only fools fall in love. So call me a fool because Im head over heels.
My thoughts are scrambled and hes waiting patiently. His fingers wrap around my mind and his body entwines with mine.
So excuse me for coming off to be daring and not dare to be explicit. But he asked me what’s on my mind for third time and I only answered him with silence. So every word I just spoke is what I wish to say and let my imagination play but I feel his curiousity and his anticipation and it becomes a warning. and for the last time he asked me what’s on my mind and I say nothing important.
So may i write these thoughts on paper and call it a diary and recall this time where I let fear take over me. So maybe next time when he asks me whats on my mind. Ill tell him the truth and leave the past behind.

Hi everyone. My name is Zoey. You may think that I’m a quiet, shy person and maybe a little weird but I am not. Ok, maybe a little with the weird thing. I mean who isn’t weird though? No one is really “normal”. Everyone is different and unique in his or her own way. I am a crazy and talkative person, I also joke around a lot, so if i ever say anything mean, I’m only joking. I talk so much, I never shut up. I was even voted most talkative back in high school. I love to do many crazy and weird things. Things that people usually wouldn’t do. A lot of people think that I’m crazy but it’s ok, I like being crazy. I came to this country when I was 10. I’ve learned many things here. One of that is “stepping”. I love to step because it’s different and it brings out my crazyness and loudness.

    Hello!
In this comment I would like to say few things about myself.
A year ago I finished high school in Europe, Croatia, where I was born. I moved to New York because of my mother’s job and that’s how I came to Baruch. I chose this college because it offers a field of study-public affairs-that I’m interested in. Going to Baruch I realized that I became more ”opened” with people. I like best being in an environment that is encouraging me to study, join an activity or participate in something because in that way I get to learn something new about others and myself, set myself goals, and gain self-confidence. My greatest support in education are my parents, especially my father, who always pushes me strive for more. I’m kind of angry with myself if i’m late to class or don’t hand in work on time. I try my best that this doesn’t happen, but because I have a job, I have less free time. However, I really like the place where I work because everyone is so nice to me that it never makes me want to leave.
Other than that, I love clothes/fashion and listening to music.
During this Spring break, I’m going to my home country and I can’t wait to see my cousins and friends. On the other hand, I’m glad that the break is only for a week cause I don’t think I would survive any longer out of NYC.
When I think about long term goals, I always picture myself one day in toga on Baruch graduation ceremony. That is so far my biggest dream.

Hi everyone! I know I’m very late about this but allow me to introduce myself and talk a little about myself. My name is Franklin and I recently started my first semester here at Baruch. I’m 20 years old and have high expectations for myself. I graduated High School in 2011 but started working full time right after so that I can save money for college. I started my first college semester January 28, 2013. So far it’s been a learning experience for me because I am a part time student and working full time to support myself. I am still trying my best to balance my work load I have in school and at work. I don’t regret anything I’ve done so far in my life except taking high school a little more seriously. My parents always told me how important it was to do good in high school but I was always slacking off. I’m a huge sports fan especially when it comes to baseball and basketball; going to games each season and just enjoying the critical moments of a game. I chose to attend Baruch college because there’s a lot of options to pick from at the college including activities, clubs, teams, and majors. Even though I haven’t decided what I would like to major in or what I want to do as a career, I believe that Baruch college will help me choose my own path to where I want to be in the future to be a successful person.
