~Otis~ Frestyle – Mohamed Conde

I’m so sweet, keep birds with no beat.

Keep the piece between my jeans and polo briefs.

My flow so tough I crush niggas confidence.

My flow hot like a pot of ya grandmama grits.

I don’t understand you lil niggas stewie griffin

In a all white bryan but the roof is missing.

Niggas lyin, talkin bout they in the newest denim

Them jeans atheist, they ain’t true religion.

When you shine, they pull you down like mini blinds

But I done fell and then rose again plenty times

I gotta fight for my position fine, I came into the business blind

But listen now my vision fine.

I developed a better business mind

So I’m not done ima run until I cross the finish line

I only mess with ASASP so you know we get it in

We all sore losers so you know we gotta win

Swear they don’t do it like this I’m on some ice shit

Cold, beat a nigga like night sticks, I write sick

That’s why I got the game in a tight grip

You niggas been done you Vince Young I’m Mike Vick

número uno – Mohamed Conde

For the sake of diversity I decided to use music to describe who I am/was instead of pictures. Most of the music I selected played major roles in regards to my initiation into the world of dance. Back in 2006 as a young kid in Harlem looking for some sense of belonging I decided to join a dance crew (which name shall remain anonymous), socially it was one of the best moments of my life, academically it was a nightmare. As I recall it all started with the classic chicken noodle soup & Harlem shake then evolved into other dances like the Aunt Jackie, bad one, 5000, tone wop, lite feet etc. this has and still continues to encompass a huge portion of my time. No I don’t exactly dance anymore but I spend a lot of my time speaking to kids who I feel need a male role model. These songs helped me realize that I in fact do have some sort of talent, hard work breeds success & that there’s strength in unity.

The other songs which include Panoramic, Gas pedal, Red nose, Yiken & Ms. Double Dutch symbolize my fascination with the night life. I believe that I attend way too many late night parties for my own good, I’m actually trying 2 limit my involvement with such. The other meanings I gathered from the lyrics are:  that life is too short, so we should live everyday like it’s our last (Big Sean). For some people, dancing is a natural form of expression, and I feel it should be treated as such regardless of genre.
