Bittersweet Symphony- I really like this song because it talks about how you work all of your life trying to attain your goals, but in the end you die. It really shows how everything is for nothing. I also like that it says that working for the stuff you want is worth it. I like how it is contradicts itself and the beat that it is put to.

Get Crazy- I LOVE this song!! It’s all about going crazy and having a good time. I really like it mainly because i saw this song preformed live in concert. Whenever i hear it, it brings me back to a fantastic night with a lot of my best friends, and reminds me of all the good times that we had together.

Photograph- This song reminds me off all of my high school friends and all of the good times that we had together. For me high school was one of the best experiences of my life and this song helps me realize that even though those days are over the memories will last forever.

Land Downunder- I chose this song because I’m Australian, and it gets played all the time in my house. I also like the way that Australian’s are portrayed in it. This song also mentions some of the places where my relatives still live which I thought was really cool.

If Today Was Your Last Day- I think this is a great song because it really shows my how I live my life. I try to get along with everyone, no matter what the circumstances are. If i want to do something I really make as much of an effort as I can to do it because it might be my last chance.

Small Town- I picked this song because most people that go to Baruch grew up in the city, and I grew up in a small town. I like it because I can really relate to what he is talking about. I also like how he says that he prefers a small town and that he’s really going to be in a small town no matter where life takes him.

This Afternoon- This song means a lot to me because I just discovered it this summer, and it really describes the last summer that I had with all my high school friends. Staying up all night and just hanging out until we all realized that we had to go to work in like 20 mins. It was just a song that perfectly described what was going on in my life.

Born in the USA- I chose this song because after getting to know our LC a little better I realized that a lot of people were born in other parts of the world. I thought this song represents my kind of all american attitude, I also like that it shows that Americans will go and fight for there country.

Pinch Me- I like listening to this song because it has the same kind of mellow, laid back attitude that I have. You just take life as it comes to you, and try to have as much fun as you can. I also like how he makes what he’s saying sound eloquent, but when you listen to what he’s saying its just about him being relaxed about everything.

The Middle- I just like this song because of the chorus, and the amazing guitar. He is always saying that no matter what happens just take it and don’t worry, because in the end everything is gonna be alright, I also like that he’s saying that he’s going to be who he wants to be and no one is gonna change him. And the guitar solos are amazing.
