The steamboat willie animation was very adorable and soothing to watch and listen to; it literally reminds me of the stuff that went on in my head when i was a child. The funny cow sounds and movements and the visuals of the train chimneys whistling one by one as if to be a bunch of young children was really entertaining to watch as it reminded me of how I used to visualize certain things/animals. I loved giving inanimate objects life. This may be unusual but I laughed so hard when minnie came out of nowhere jumping and making sounds to grab mickey’s attention; she sounded like a mini screeching kettle that’s overboiling with water. The sound of Mickey snatching the thing out of the goat’s mouth also sounded funny but unexpected and the object moving in the goat sounded like the bell’s on an early Sunday morning in a Christian church. It was extremely adorable when Mickey started dancing with that goose (that was a goose I think) making music with random potspoons and pans/this shredder looking thing and then finishing with pulling a cat’s tail for a unique sound effect + the goose, pig, goat, and bull. Honestly, this animation still depicts stuff similar to the thoughts that roam in my mind carelessly. The astro boy trailer visuals were pretty cute but I found the singing to be annoying–maybe because the sound of children pesters me sometimes. I like how he was depicted as a little rocket flying and just living his life. I really loved the film called ‘rejected’ because I just love how random and silly it was; it reminded me of little kids interacting because they say the most out of pocket absurd things ever. It even made me laugh because I didn’t really realize people had my kind of humor out there in animations much. That one kid getting beat up for no reason was hilarious and that guy casually shouting [bleep] when that fleshy thing came out was really funny. The baby that fell down a long flight of stairs also made me laugh hard because it was so unexpected as I thought something heartwarming would happen. I enjoy the chaotic nature of this film a lot. The South Park one called ‘Spirit of Christmas’ was extremely funny because I’m familiar with South Park and love it more every time I watch a new episode. I enjoy the vulgar language and the insults they spout at each other because it’s so raw and realistic instead of simply just saying the F word. When Jesus started speaking Chinese I laughed so hard and when that random guy showed up saying ‘sike’ it was hilarious. When they all agreed to be ‘jew’ it was super funny too because I imagined a bunch of clueless little children saying that.
