World and influences

I really liked the presentation and the world of the painter Yasuo Kuniyoshi. Through the presentation we were able to see his evolution, and measure how diversified his world was. It testifies to the fact that Japanese art is not limited to the famous “Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Hokusai. Nevertheless, we find in his work a great European influence, which makes me wonder whether or not we could describe his work as typically Japanese.
