Grab a drink and meet an amazing lineup of writers from countries as diverse as Mauritius, France, Congo-Brazzaville, Kenya, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, South Africa, Great Britain, and the United States. This afternoon salon brings together a house party vibe with panels and conversations on a variety of topics: How does the West perpetuate misunderstandings of African culture? Why do some artists choose to leave Africa, and why might they return? What can the West learn from Africa?
