My passion is education. Not just the focus on creating healthy environment for students, but creating cultures that encourage critical thinkers. I have worked in Higher Education for over 10 years with experience in admissions, enrollment management and recruitment. During this time, I’ve pursued an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from the Borough of Manhattan Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Society with a minor in Africana Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice & Police Science.
In 2017, I incorporated employment with Top Honors to gain experience working with middle school children to further understand the challenges accompanying the transition process from middle school through to enrolling (or not enrolling) into college. I believe my purpose is to help identify individuals and organizations who not only require auxiliary assistance for improving access to resources, but also to contribute to an organization’s understanding of the needs of today’s society.
