I am Victoria and currently in my second year of the HEA- MSEd Program. I graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.
My psychology background and my love for helping students prompted me to volunteer at many organizations ranging from elementary school to high school in both Maryland and New York. The time spent at these organizations only deepened my passion to help students reach their goals and potential.
As an admissions coordinator at a private, all- girl high school in Brooklyn, I have aided young girls transition from elementary school to high school and guided them throughout the admissions process. My job has been rewarding and has allowed me to grow professionally and personally but I am ready for the next step in my career.
I cannot wait to get started in higher education this Fall as an intern for Baruch’s Graduate Admissions Department, as a part time graduate advisor for Yeshiva University and serve as a member of the HEA Club Executive Board. I am looking forward to enhancing my professional development skills, learning from my peers, expanding my knowledge in higher education, and continue to grow professionally and individually.
